After Spa Treatments FYI;
Relax and enjoy your day after service, as your body will undergo some changes. Drink plenty of fluids, especially water and avoid alcohol if possible. A temporary change in bowel movements and/or urine color or odor are normal. This is a good sign as your body is cleansing itself of toxins. Patches of red spots or slight rashes are normal as these areas of the skin have more toxins to release. These usually subside with-in 24 hours.
If you must bathe the same day after your service, avoid soaps and just rinse off in warm water only. Most of the treatments continue to work for 12 to 24 hours after service. If possible take a nap after service or retire early in the evening. The body needs time to rest and complete its rejuvenation process. Most of all, enjoy your body's feelings of new revitalization.

A gentle hands on therapy performed with the client fully clothed, that uses the wave-like motion of the spinal fluid to detect and facilitate the release of restrictions in the body tissues wherever they may occur. Spinal fluid, as it is created and pumped through the brain and spinal cord, generates a wave-like motion, or pulsation, which is felt throughout the entire body similar to the heartbeat and respiration, but much more subtle. Wherever the wave, or flow is not perceived fully, signals the therapist that there is a restriction which, if not relieved will eventually produce symptoms with-in the body. Once restrictions are detected, and with a minute amount of guidance from the therapist, the body will attempt to restore balance. Often relief can be perceived in one session, or it may take several depending on the nature of the problem and the rate of speed at which the individual heals, this varies from person to person. The Chakras are the body's centers of energy and vital to the well-being of the whole person. They are the energy centers through which our spiritual and emotional energies flow. The word "Chakra" is taken from Hindi and means "Wheel of Energy". There are seven primary chakras or energy centers within our body. Each chakra is associated with a specific color, has certain characteristics, and influences a different aspect of the physical body or personality. The correct flow of energies through the chakras is vital for health. When the flow of "Prana", or energy is blocked, dis-ease results. It is very important to keep your chakras in balance to avoid mental, emotional and physical chaos. The first chakra is at the base of the spine and is called the "Root Chakra" (RED). It teaches us how to stand up for ourselves. It is also about safety and security. The second or "Navel Chakra" (ORANGE), is located just below the navel. Its lessons relate to power, control and creativity. The third, or "Solar Plexus Chakra" (YELLOW), is just above the navel. Fear, ability to nurture self and self-confidence issues are addressed here. The fourth chakra located at the heart, is known as the "Heart Chakra" (GREEN). Possible lessons are about love, loneliness and forgiveness. The fifth chakra located at the throat, is known as the "Throat Chakra" (BLUE).
